GameFEST in Birmingham was amazing. And with that being said, so was Super Mario Kart 7!
At this booth, they only allowed the players to play 3 circuits which were definitely not enough but enough to talk about.
This game is a new level from the last Mario kart 7. In the beginning, the player gets to choose big or small wheels, change the frame of the kart and the new glider! During the race, you begin driving and everything is more or less the same however, when the kart lifts from the ground, a glider appears on top of the kart and it allows you to glide in the air. Using up and down, you can either dive back to the ground or stay in the air for as long as you can. Also, you can collect coins which I’m not too sure what that is about yet but I’m assuming it is exactly the same as what it does for the SNES version. In addition, you get to drive underwater with propellers that pop out!
Amazing game and I do wish the demo at the booth gave us more to play. I enjoyed this game so much, I had to play through the demo TWICE!
A game definitely to buy on the day of release (December).
